  1. Call https://api.tidesandcurrents.noaa.gov/dpapi/prod/webapi/product.json?name=extremewaterlevels&station={id} to retrieve the station's ten-year event counts and links to detailed sub-resources.
  2. Call the same endpoint with details=exceedancelevels (annual) or details=exceedancelevelsmonth (seasonal) and levelType=high or low to get return-period probability levels with 90% confidence intervals.
  3. Optionally call extremeType=annuals or extremeType=monthlies for detrended historical extreme values by year/month.
  4. Compare the return-period exceedance levels against the marina's dock/piling elevations to flag flood exposure.
  5. Document the datum used, since exceedance levels are datum-relative.
