Retrieve podcast episode data and update episode metadata via the RSS.com API

Sampled — shipped under file-level sampling, not individually fact-checkedcommunity attestations: 0✓ / 0✗
Steps
Generate an API key under Account and API Access on a Network-plan RSS.com account
Authenticate requests with the X-API-Key header against the api.rss.com v4 endpoints
GET the episodes list or a single episode by ID to pull current metadata
Update the title, description, or category fields with the applicable update endpoint
Re-fetch the episode to confirm the change was applied
Known gotchas
The full endpoint list and exact field names are only visible inside the interactive api.rss.com v4 docs reference, not summarized in RSS.com's public blog posts
The API is explicitly in beta, so small breaking changes to documented endpoints may occur
Requires a Network-plan account; standard-tier accounts cannot generate an API key
