Steps
Register an application in Google Cloud Console and request access/quota for the Business Profile APIs, which start at zero quota until a legitimate business use case is approved.
Complete OAuth 2.0 setup and obtain credentials for the account that manages the location.
Call GET https://mybusiness.googleapis.com/v4/accounts/{accountId}/locations/{locationId}/reviews to list all reviews for the location.
For a specific review needing a response, call PUT .../reviews/{reviewId}/reply with a JSON body containing a comment field to post or update the reply.
Use accounts.locations.batchGetReviews to pull reviews across multiple locations in one request, or DELETE the reply path to remove a reply.
Known gotchas
New Google Cloud projects start with zero quota for these APIs; approval requires a verified Business Profile active 60+ days and a valid business website, so this is not instantly self-serve.
Reply functionality additionally depends on the right Google Search/Maps services being enabled by the account's G Suite admin; without that, reply calls can fail even with valid OAuth credentials.
