Steps

  1. In Current RMS, go to Opportunities > Job Planner and copy one of the four iCal feed links (orders, quotations, drafts, or inquiries) shown at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Confirm the extended scheduler is enabled in System Preferences, which is required to use custom start/end attributes on the feed.
  3. Append &start_attribute=<attribute> to the feed URL, choosing from attributes like prep_starts_at, deliver_starts_at, show_starts_at, or collect_starts_at.
  4. Append &end_attribute=<attribute> similarly, e.g. show_ends_at or deprep_ends_at, to control what date the calendar event ends on.
  5. Subscribe to the resulting webcal:// URL in an external calendar app (Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook) and confirm events now reflect the chosen date pair instead of the opportunity's overall start/end.
