Documented steps Join the rootless network namespace used for netavark networking: `podman unshare --rootless-netns ip addr`. This gives you the bridge network namespace so you can reach a bridge-networked rootless container by its IP address. From inside, ping or curl the container's bridge IP to verify connectivity. Run any other network inspection command inside that namespace the same way (e.g. `podman unshare --rootless-netns ip route`). Known gotchas Without --rootless-netns you cannot reach a rootless container by its bridge IP from the host network namespace. This only enters the netavark rootless netns; it does not give you host-network access. Rootless networking uses pasta by default (user-mode NAT), so direct IP reachability differs from rootful bridge mode. Not available on the remote podman client.
