Steps
Go to UL Product iQ (iq.ul.com) and search by company name or UL file/certificate number to locate the central station's listing.
Confirm the listing status is active/current, not expired, withdrawn, or historical.
Check that the certificate scope matches the services you need — burglar alarm central station, fire alarm supervising station, or both — since scope is listed per certificate.
Record the certificate number and renewal/inspection date for your vendor-qualification files.
If the station doesn't appear or the listing looks stale, contact UL directly or request the monitoring center's current UL certificate rather than relying on marketing claims.
Known gotchas
A company being 'UL listed' for one service category doesn't mean all its services are covered — verify scope per certificate, not just a company-name match.
