Steps
Confirm you hold an active Avinode Marketplace membership — API access is only granted to Members, not to unaffiliated third parties.
Contact your Avinode sales representative to have an API connection created and enabled on your account; connections are provisioned manually by Avinode support, not through self-serve signup.
Once provisioned, develop and test against Avinode's REST endpoints (e.g., trips, aircraft types, airports) in the Sandbox environment (sandbox.avinode.com) before requesting production access.
For inbound event notifications (e.g., new requests or quotes), configure a webhook using the OAuth key/secret issued for your connection, which Avinode uses to sign each notification call.
Review Avinode's published API service constraints and limitations before finalizing your design, since usage is subject to documented rate and behavioral limits.
Known gotchas
There is no self-service signup for Avinode API credentials — access requires an active Marketplace membership plus a manually provisioned API connection, so budget lead time for sales/support involvement.
Sandbox and production are separate environments with separate credentials; fully validate your integration in the sandbox before requesting production access.
