Steps Call GET {{BASE_URL}}/devices/<device-id> after the customer selects a course to read the price required for that course. Process the payment through your own payment stack — LG's docs state the Commercial Laundry API does not handle payment itself. Call POST {{BASE_URL}}/devices/<device-id>/ready with a paymentMoney value once payment succeeds to start the paid cycle. For free or staff use, call POST {{BASE_URL}}/devices/<device-id>/courtesy instead to prepare the device without a payment amount. If a device needs to be stopped mid-operation, call POST {{BASE_URL}}/devices/<device-id>/reset before it can be reused.
Known gotchas The API assumes you already collected payment elsewhere — calling /ready does not itself charge anyone. A device that errors out must be explicitly reset via /reset before it will accept another /ready or /courtesy call.
