Documented steps POST https://api.browserbase.com/v1/sessions with header X-BB-API-Key: <api key> and Content-Type: application/json. Set timeout to the desired auto-end duration in seconds (min 60, max 21600 = 6 hours). Defaults to the project's defaultTimeout. Set region to one of us-west-2 (default), us-east-1, eu-central-1, or ap-southeast-1 to pin the browser location. Optionally set projectId if the key maps to more than one project.
Known gotchas timeout must be between 60 and 21600 seconds; out-of-range values are rejected. region is limited to the four supported values; pick the one nearest your target to reduce latency. A session auto-ends at its timeout even if work is incomplete — size timeout to the longest task you expect. Official docs: https://docs.browserbase.com/reference/api/create-a-session
