Steps

  1. POST to matrix.router.hereapi.com/v8/matrix with apiKey, origins, destinations, regionDefinition, and matrixAttributes in the body
  2. A 202 response means the calculation was queued for async processing; a 200 means it was small enough to return synchronously
  3. Poll the returned matrix/{matrixId}/status endpoint until the status reports completion
  4. Follow the completion redirect to download the result, requesting the matching content type for the encoded matrix payload
