Call the synchronous Producer Authorization Web Service with the producer's identifiers (NPN, Tax ID, or carrier-specific producer ID), state, underwriting company, ACORD/DTCC-standard product type, and the sales event (quote, application, issuance, or commission payment).
Receive a simple yes/no authorization result indicating whether the producer may sell that product in that state for that event type.
On a 'no' response, follow up with the appropriate Sircon producer management/onboarding service to identify and resolve the licensing or appointment gap.
