Steps

  1. Enable 'Smart Home integrations' in the Aranet Home mobile app first — devices refuse third-party BLE reads until this is turned on.
  2. pip install aranet4 (Python 3, Linux-focused) or use stijnstijn/pyaranet4 for a cross-platform Bleak-based client on Windows/macOS.
  3. Call aranet4.client.get_current_readings(device_mac) to read the current-readings characteristic (UUID f0cd1503-95da-4f4b-9ac8-aa55d312af0c) for CO2, temperature, humidity and pressure (and radon on supported Radon Plus/One models).
  4. Call aranet4.client.get_all_records(device_mac, entry_filter=...) to pull the on-device history log over BLE.
  5. For a non-Python stack, use the community Rust 'aranet' crate, which documents the same BLE characteristics.
