Steps
In Famly, generate a Public API access token under the site's API token settings (Access via API Tokens)
Send the token on every request using the 'X-Famly-Accesstoken' header
Use GraphiQL at famlyapi.famly.co/v1/graphiql (or the DACH environment famlyapi.famly.de for German-market accounts) to explore the schema and test queries
Write GraphQL queries against the child/enrollment types documented at docs.famly.co, selecting only the fields needed
Handle the environment split: general accounts use famlyapi.famly.co, DACH-region accounts use famlyapi.famly.de
Known gotchas
Famly maintains two separate GraphQL environments (general vs. DACH/Germany) with different base URLs — pointing a DACH account at the general endpoint will fail
GraphiQL requires authentication to actually execute most queries; browsing the schema does not mean a query will succeed without a valid token
