3. Source replacement components (refractory panels, doors, damper assemblies, blower) only from the original manufacturer or a supplier confirmed to provide parts matching that specific model's listing — do not substitute generic or universal parts
4. Verify chimney/vent components used with the unit are also from the same listed system, since factory-built fireplace chimneys are typically listed and tested as a matched assembly with the firebox
5. Install per the manufacturer's current installation instructions and applicable code (NFPA 211 and the locally adopted mechanical/residential code)
6. Document the model/serial number and parts used in the service record in case of future warranty or listing questions
