Steps
Add Developer Tools to your Brown Paper Tickets account (via sign-up or Account Functions) to get a Developer ID.
Add any organizer accounts you'll pull data for as Authorized Accounts under the Developer menu.
Use the API to pull sales data and event/calendar information per the reference at brownpapertickets.com/apidocs.
Track which call-rate tier applies: 1 call/hour if the account has no approved events yet, 1,000 calls/hour for creating/editing an unapproved event once the account has at least one approved event, and 10,000 calls/hour for an approved event.
Contact support@brownpapertickets.com to request a temporary rate increase or a test-event approval if you're blocked during development.
Known gotchas
The steep initial rate limit (1 call/hour with zero approved events) makes iterative development painful until at least one event on the account is approved — plan integration testing accordingly.
The call-rate tier is determined per event by that event's own approval status, not a single flat account-wide limit — the same account can simultaneously have low-rate unapproved events and high-rate (10,000/hour) approved events.
